Bluebird Membership
Hello, friend! Join us in building symbolic nest boxes—intentional life-giving care and meaningful connection—for women in motherhood!
Bluebird members are individuals, families, and foundations dedicated to accompanying women in motherhood and awakening hope in pregnancy by joining 1% for Women and pledging to annually support our Nonprofit Partners who offer at least one direct low- or no-cost pregnancy or parenting service.
Membership itself is a meaningful act of accompanying women in motherhood.
You can amplify your membership by making time for tea for two, placing 9 Days of Refuge where it can be accessed by women in crisis, hosting tea parties, and encouraging others to participate. Through these simple acts, you help magnify the essential pregnancy and parenting resources that already exist, giving women confidence that their community supports their journey in motherhood.
This movement is about strength in unity, hope made visible, and life-giving action. Thank you for considering membership. When we each give a little, we can make a dynamic impact right where we live and work!
Pledge: Join 1% for Women by completing our membership form and choosing the Sip, Serve, or Support Pathway. Learn more in the FAQs.
Give: Donate directly to one or more certified 1% for Women Nonprofit Partners by the end of your pledge year. Your donation may be monetary, material, volunteer, or a combination of these. No donation verification is required. Membership itself is a meaningful way to support women.
Magnify Impact: Opt into a brief annual survey to share your impact and inspire others.
1. Can individual, families, and foundations participate in 1% for Women?
Yes! There are three pathways for becoming a Bluebird—Sip, Serve, and Support.
Sip Pathway: Join our Tea Club or Tea for Two Club. As long as your club membership is active, so is your Bluebird Membership.
Serve Pathway: Become a Bluebird Ambassador! Inquire about this volunteer opportunity to hello@bluebirdrefuge.com.
Support Pathway: Give a financial gift to advance the movement and help more women find the help they need. $10 monthly with a $35 sign-up fee, or $140/year
This includes a Nest Bundle (curated products from our shop to advance the movement) and a Digital Nest Kit (electronic toolkit to share information with others).
If you choose monthly support, you can discontinue your membership at any time. Please contact us 15 days prior to your next monthly transaction.
2. Who selects the Bluebird Membership option and what do members receive?
Bluebird members include individuals, families, and foundations who are dedicated to accompanying women on their journey through motherhood. Members who join through the Sip and Support pathways receive a Nest Bundle (curated products from our shop to advance the movement), and all pathway members receive a Digital Nest Kit (electronic toolkit to share information with others). Serve Pathway members receive the digital resources only, unless they purchase a Nest Bundle separately.
